Land has settled!!

That's right, the land has settled... Also turns out the vendor's solicitor has said that it is not their responsibility to ensure the pegs are there. Looks like we will be liable for charges come build time. Builders will have to get their surveyors out to confirm the boundaries. Well at least we've settled. That's the main thing. When do you suppose we can start building??

  1. Congrats on being land owners!!!
It shouldn't take long to get on site from here. Once you provide finance approval and proof of funds & land settlement, it seems to be about 4 or 5 weeks. Carlisle will now apply for developers approval on your behalf and have plans altered if needed. They then send you final plans and final colour selections to sign off on ( you can't make external colour changes once developer approval application is submitted) and then your file moves to construction phase and trades are booked in.
It's all just too exciting... Enjoy :)
