All Wrapped and Warm.

It's been awhile since our last post because it has been too dark to capture the wonderful progress. And oh my so much has happened!
Firstly, our roof is tiled, windows installed and bricks delivered. We are wrapped, insulated and plumbing is complete. Our lights and powers are in place and the plaster has been delivered. And our entrance door is ready to be hinged!
Our home is truly looking beautiful!

Our glowing bricks in the bright morning sun

Awaiting to be touched up with Red Box coloured paint.

The Garage has been wrapped and insulated too. Wasn't expecting that.

Jackki's massive study.

Our plaster waiting in the kitchen.
This is where our kitchen rangehood will go.

Who wants to jump in the bath with me?

Our Master walk-in-robe

This is our shower recess.

Our electrical, telephone and network cables.

I was wondering what you guys were up to. Doesnt it become a house almost overnight?
Hope Carlisle continue at this pace for you!!

  3. Thanks guys (and gals),

Jackki and I have been having lots of fun driving to our block after work and seeing the changes unfold. Carlisle have indeed been very fast in our opinion with our build.

Ameya, it seems we have the same SS. We were only just appointed KB as our previous SS had to move onto greener pastures (he's still with Carlisle though). We haven't had a chance to meet the new SS (only spoken on the phone), but he seems very approacheable.

On another note, we've got pre-plaster inspection through NHI coming up this Friday. The initial frame stage inspection they did went very well. Only a few minor issues were found. Hopefully everything is fine this time round and Carlisle prove themselves to be just what we expected.... FANTASTIC!!!! :)
